NovaBiotics has raised >£8m in private equity funding to date and with this, has successfully delivered its lead product, Novexatin® to the clinic. A supporting and robust pipeline of medicinal and consumer-health care focused technologies (see www.luminaderm.com) have also been developed in parallel. The board and management are focused on high-value opportunities and delivery of commercial success from the Company’s solid technology base. 

NovaBiotics aims to complete preclinical and early clinical R&D for each indication and to then form strategic alliances and / or out licensing partnerships with appropriate pharmaceutical / biopharmaceutical entities for later stage clinical and regulatory development, manufacture and marketing. Revenue from such alliances will be re-invested into pipeline development and growth of the technology base which in turn, will pave the way for additional revenue generating alliances. This step-wise market penetration strategy will generate a steady income stream to facilitate expansion of the company in such as way as to build significant value and maximize investor returns.
