It is anticipated that Novamycin® will enter clinical development in 2012. Novamycin® will be developed for intravenous/sub-cutaneous administration in the first instance, but the physiochemical and biological properties of the compound is such that there is also the potential for oral and topical formulations to be developed in parallel (a major USP over most other antifungal agents).
