NovaBiotics Ltd is a clinical-stage speciality biotechnology company focused on the application of first-in-class anti-infective technology for difficult-to-treat, medically unmet fungal and bacterial conditions.

As a leading innovator in the anti-infectives space, Novabiotics' business model is to develop candidate therapeutics to early/mid clinical proof of concept prior to further development of our product candidates and technology platform with commercialisation, out-licensing or co-development partners thereafter.

Using informed, rational drug design principles versus high-risk screening strategies, the company has streamlined this process such that we have delivered products to clinic in less than 5 years from patent priority dates.

Founded in Aberdeen by Dr. Deborah O'Neil in 2004, NovaBiotics Board of Directors provides a wealth of expertise in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sector and the science team now in place (comprising immunology, microbiology and antimicrobial peptide expertise) provides a wealth of technological know-how and skills including proven, sector-specific expertise in anti-infective business development.
